The Materials Handler position is located in the Logistics Division, of Integrated Support Services (ISS) Directorate, Office of Chief Operating Officer, of the Library of Congress (LOC). Responsibilities include: warehouse work receiving, moving, storing and delivering materials and supplies; erecting or dismantling office systems furniture, shelves, partitions, etc.; moving, arranging, and setting up furniture, rooms, and outdoor areas for public events; using hand tools and powered equipment; examining furniture and equipment for deterioration and damage; and cutting and installing carpet tiles.
